The fourth in my series of Lovely Ladies Doilies, and the first of the “Vintage Vignettes” designs, Lucy and Jacks Afternoon Stroll Doily will add a touch of Victorian charm and elegance to your decor. Inspired by traditional crocheted Crinoline ladies, Lucy is attired in her finest afternoon frock and ribbon-and-rose trimmed chapeau. Sweet little Jack eagerly leads the way down the garden path, which is lined with the last of the Autumn roses.
One of my favorite customers, Jenny Maloney has crocheted this doily in several different color combinations, which she has graciously allowed me to share with you here. I especially love her pink and green version, and plan to make one for myself someday!
As a special thank you, I will be including the pdf pattern for my Mavanees Roses doily as a gift with each purchase. This doily is very special to me, as it is named for my mother, who not only taught me to crochet, but instilled in me a love of roses and gardening.
The pattern is in PDF format so you will need to be able to open Adobe Acrobat, and prints out to 12 pages. I use a large font for easier reading and add lots of pictures.
